My salad has it all, minus the sesame seed bun, and makes for a super quick and yummy weeknight meal. If you’re looking for more burger-inspiration, some other favorites of mine are the super popular Cheeseburger Sliders, these delicious Turkey Burgers with Pomegranate Ketchup, and of course my classic Homemade Burger.
Why this recipe works
Tastes like a Big Mac in salad form! Packed with crisp freshness, textures and flavor Ready in just 15 minutes Made with your favorite special burger sauce It’s easy, healthy and great for meal prep!
Ground beef: I’ve always loved burger bowls, but the burger is always hard to cut up! So for this recipe, you’ll cook the ground beef so it’s easier to get a bite of “burger” in each bite! Worcestershire sauce: used to season the beef (check for gluten-free if needed) Romaine lettuce: feel free to switch it up and use whatever lettuce or greens you like. Tomatoes: Cherry or grape tomatoes are great, or you can dice up Roma tomatoes. Red onion: You can slice into rounds or dice the onion. Avocado: add the avocado right before serving. You can slice it, or dice it! Cheese: shredded cheddar cheese is of course necessary for a Cheeseburger Salad! Dressing: The dressing is a special burger sauce dressing made with mayonnaise, ketchup, pickle relish, Dijon mustard and a few other seasonings. It is SO GOOD.
