I do not believe I have blogged about many desserts for the Bar Method! So, I was browsing a magazine the other day in the grocery check out line and I came across stuffed pears. They looked SO delicious and I happened to have some pears that I needed to use up in the fridge so it was fate! 🙂 I like this dessert because it has a nice crunch and natural sweetness…however I did add a pinch of brown sugar and honey to make it more dessert-like. A lot of times at night we will start to crave sweet foods, and this is a healthy alternative to let’s say… Ben and Jerry’s cake batter ice cream! With a boost of protein, healthy fats, vitamins, and fiber this dessert needs to be a keeper in your household. Maybe if you have been “extra good” lately you can enjoy the warm stuffed pear with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream, mmmm.
